I think you don't need the brush strokes underneath the rubric. It could be just the text. The color pencils on creativities dept does not add much to your design. Although it's a nice photo it gives a child-like feel to your spread. In the same dept the other 2 images you used are almost the same size. Maybe you should play with their scales.
